Yub Bert Acha Sir Epi…man according to Genesis 2:7 is material plus immaterial…dust of the ground plus the breath of life. The mediator between God and man is not a “spirit being” as 1 Tim 2:5 declares. Notice the verse carefully.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the “MAN” Christ Jesus;..”

It does not say, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the “SPIRIT” Christ Jesus;”

Epifanio Almeda The “MAN” simply describes what Jesus was before he was restored to his being a spirit being. Jesus is not of the earth but he is the Lord from heaven.

1 Corinthians 15:47…the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

To believe that Jesus acquired flesh up to this time would be to believe that instead of creating man to become spirit, the spirit Jesus became diluted in his being a spirit by having flesh. J

As at Gen 1:27 what was created was still the physical phase of man’s creation. Man was not yet in the image and likeness of God. By image, it is not how God looks likes as we see the physical form of man. God does not look like us with two eyes in front that he could not see his back view, etc.

God’s image means his reputation, his character, his being the epitome of LOVE. By likeness of God means that the finished product man is spirit, without physical or natural composition or part, but wholly spirit like God who is Spirit. Man will not become god as God is but, not going beyond the scripture, will become “like Him” (1 John 3:2).
