If it were true that man has a soul which is incorruptible and immortal as commonly believed, there would be no need to still put on incorruption and immortality.

How can the bible explain those soul that possess living humans? To site an example which was documented a long time ago by
the U.S. medical ***. was the Brazilian psychic healer named Arigo in which during his healing session’s is possessed by a German world war 1
medic.

EMA:  The bible teaches that there is a spirit world.  The rebellious angels now called demons or unclean spirits could enter into a man and possess or take control over him.

Luke 11:24 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ 25 And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. 26 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”

Being with power, they can impersonate any human being.  Saul, who was already forsaken by God at that time, thought it was Samuel who was brought back from the dead by the witch of En Dor.

1 Samuel 28:11 Then the woman said, “Whom shall I bring up for you?”
And he said, “Bring up Samuel for me.”
12 When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman spoke to Saul, saying, “Why have you deceived me? For you are Saul!”
13 And the king said to her, “Do not be afraid. What did you see?”
And the woman said to Saul, “I saw a spiritascending out of the earth.”
14 So he said to her, “What is his form?”
And she said, “An old man is coming up, and he is covered with a mantle.” And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground and bowed down.
15 Now Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?”

If the bible be the basis, an evil spirit impersonated the “German world war 1 medic” who, as you said, possessed “the Brazilian psychic healer named Arigo”.

red dog: Epi,If the german medic that possessed Arigo is evil, how come that he allows Arigo
to pray first before he start’s his healing? Is he not a good spirit? Are there good spirit’s? I ask
to many question Epi.

Prayer for show, doc. There are many of this kind one can hardly notice the prayer that connects to God.

Yes, “not a good spirit” impersonated “the german medic”.  While it might produce a result that pleases the audience, the act is an abomination in God’s sight.

Deuteronomy 18:9 “When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.

Yes, those who remain loyal to God to this day. Angels are even assigned to protect those who obey God.

Psalm 34:7 The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

It’s my pleasure to answer bible questions doc. My turn later is to ask you questions on medicine.

red dog:  Anytime Epi, to the best that i could. One more Epi, how about Daniel? He interpret’s dreams.

EMA:  You can still ask more after this one doc.

While Daniel could interpret dreams, among others, and is said to have “an excellent spirit”,

Daniel 5:12 Inasmuch as an excellent spirit, knowledge, understanding, interpreting dreams, solving riddles, and explaining enigmas were found in this Daniel,

…this spirit is God given or God’s spirit and not that of any demon.

Daniel 1:17 As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

red dog:  Epi, how can we recognize excellent spirits? Is the German
Medic not an excellent spirit? He heals and make poor people well. Arigo
claims that this spirit guides him.

EMA:  The practice alone of summoning the dead makes Arigo’s act an abomination to God and determines that the spirit that will respond to impersonate the dead summoned is a demon.

Deuteronomy 18:9. ..you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you anyone who…11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.

The bible believer should avoid getting involved with the likes of Arigo if he wants to follow God’s command.

red dog:  Epi, how come God did not intervene to stop the German medic’s spirit from performing the healings. Thousands were cured by
Arigo and logic tell’s me that God approves this practice. To me if it’s a good act that will benefit people then God approves this act. From the way how i see it, if one conjures spells, or use a medium,or calls up the dead for their own personal benefit then it’s a bad act. When Arigo started to collect fees from his services then God intervened and terminated Arigo.

EMA:  When Adam & Eve decided not to have God as their ruler, God allowed them, and later on their descendants, to do as they wish.  God is generally hands off in man’s affairs save only in those events and persons with whom he works for the furtherance of his purpose.

Arigo’s case is no different from any man cut off from God. That he allowed Arigo to summon up the dead medic does not mean he approved the act.  His command to the Israelites (Deuteronomy 18:9-11) shows that he does not approve of such act.

red dog:  With due respect to you Epi, that’s why i always question the bible, to many confusing verses that opens a lot of doors for argument’s. That’s precisely why we have so many religion popping up
because of confusing verses and various interpretations. Thanks a lot Epi.

EMA:  You’re welcome doc.  It’s not wrong to question the bible.  Sometimes it leads one to understanding.  Oftentimes, it’s the opposite.
